My last White Light mix (Vol 5) was one of my favourite mixes that I’ve ever done, but I wanted to go deeper on this one to really catch the ‘Night Driving / Zone Out’ vibe. This one is much less vocal, way more mind trip, and features some very strong productions from acts who are really pushing this sound. Ok, New Years Resolution is to update this site more often!
First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Everyone’s posting gifts, and I don’t really have much to offer at the moment. (Resolution 2, get back to work on tracks!). Heres an edit I made that might be passing its expiry date, but its something, right? Its an edit of Pon De Floor edits, including our Smoke & Mirrors edit (which was included in DJ Medhi & Busy P’s Essential mix), parts of Mighty Mi’s Rap mashup, and parts of the Beataucue Remix. Here’s a video of my dude Fashen playing it at the Livestock Block Party in Vancouver. It was also charted by Brodinski in November, which was kinda nice, albeit undeserving haha. Been asked about this quite a bit so here it is for you. Enjoy!
