First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Everyone’s posting gifts, and I don’t really have much to offer at the moment. (Resolution 2, get back to work on tracks!). Heres an edit I made that might be passing its expiry date, but its something, right? Its an edit of Pon De Floor edits, including our Smoke & Mirrors edit (which was included in DJ Medhi & Busy P’s Essential mix), parts of Mighty Mi’s Rap mashup, and parts of the Beataucue Remix. Here’s a video of my dude Fashen playing it at the Livestock Block Party in Vancouver. It was also charted by Brodinski in November, which was kinda nice, albeit undeserving haha. Been asked about this quite a bit so here it is for you. Enjoy!

Well kiddies, heres a track we’ve been sitting on for waaay too long. The first ever Smoke & Mirrors track. We did this in Feb 2007 I believe. In April when I was down in LA, I debuted it to Diplo & Switch. Diplo wanted it for Coachella, Switch wanted to release it. It obviously never was though, we had planned to make our EP more ‘next level’ but the problem was we kept planning to work together ‘next week’. Subsequently, we did some remix work and this track kind of got lost in the shuffle. Yeah, so tempo drop joints are a bit played but the reason I posted this edit is because you can use it as a transition up, or transition down tool, ahh the magic of cue points!
